Josh is a lawyer, problem solver, speaker, and the founder of Foxlaw. Along with a keen intellect, he brings passion, optimism and empathy to the practice of law. Josh earned degrees in both law and commerce at the University of Queensland. He has studied abroad on exchange both at the University of British Columbia (Canada) and the University of Nottingham (UK). He is one of only a handful of lawyers in the CQ region to hold a Master of Laws degree.

Josh grew up locally attending school at St. Anthony’s and Emmaus College. He is a keen (but amateur) soccer player and loves travel and a good challenge (having ticked Everest Base Camp and the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro off his ‘100 Things’ List). Josh has a strong belief in the benefits of living and working in the regions and is a young and enthusiastic advocate for business development and professional networking in CQ.

Jess grew up in Sydney’s, Sutherland Shire. At the age of 21, Jess relocated to the Sunshine Coast where she found her passion for the legal profession, whilst working for a large insurance firm as Team Manager. This role saw Jess work alongside a variety of solicitors and legal professionals and she quickly developed a love and passion for the industry.

Having met her (now) husband, Cody, in the Sunshine Coast, the pair returned to Cody’s home town of Rockhampton in 2016. Jess joined Foxlaw in May 2017, where she has injected her passion and love for supporting the growth and innovation of TeamFox to ensure our clients always receive exceptional and friendly service.

As office manager, she wears many hats in her role and is always ready to help both our clients and the rest of the Foxlaw team.

Jess and Cody recently welcomed their first child, Isla, into the world and love hosting dinner parties and travelling to the snowy mountains annually.
