Josh is a lawyer, problem solver, speaker, and the founder of Foxlaw. Along with a keen intellect, he brings passion, optimism and empathy to the practice of law. Josh earned degrees in both law and commerce at the University of Queensland. He has studied abroad on exchange both at the University of British Columbia (Canada) and the University of Nottingham (UK). He holds a Master of Laws degree.

Josh grew up in Rockhampton attending school at St. Anthony’s and Emmaus College. Josh loves travel and a good challenge (having ticked Everest Base Camp and the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro off his ‘100 Things’ List). Josh has a strong belief in the benefits of living and working in the regions and is a young and enthusiastic advocate for business development and professional networking both in Brisbane and CQ. Josh spends time in both our Rockhampton and Brisbane offices.

Jess grew up in Sydney’s, Sutherland Shire. At the age of 21, Jess relocated to the Sunshine Coast where she found her passion for the legal profession, whilst working for a large insurance firm as Team Manager. This role saw Jess work alongside a variety of solicitors and legal professionals and she quickly developed a love and passion for the industry.

Having met her (now) husband, Cody, in the Sunshine Coast, the pair returned to Cody’s home town of Rockhampton in 2016. Jess joined Foxlaw in May 2017, where she has injected her passion and love for supporting the growth and innovation of TeamFox to ensure our clients always receive exceptional and friendly service.

Jess is based in our Rockhampton office. As office manager, she wears many hats in her role and is always ready to help both our clients and the rest of the Foxlaw team.

Jess and Cody recently welcomed their first child, Isla, into the world and love hosting dinner parties and travelling to the snowy mountains annually.

Stacey grew up on a cattle property outside of Alpha in Central Western Queensland, with her three sisters and attended Primary School at Alpha State School.

For High School, Stacey attended Rockhampton Girls Grammar where she boarded from Grade 8 until Grade 12. She graduated in 2013 and moved to Rockhampton where she worked while studying a Bachelor of Laws externally through QUT.

Stacey began working at Foxlaw as a Paralegal in November 2015 and was admitted as a Solicitor in March 2020. Stacey is based in our Rockhampton office.

Stacey is a hardworking and enthusiastic member of the Foxlaw team who strives to provide practical and meaningful services to clients. Stacey is passionate about rural and regional Australia and through her studies and working at Foxlaw, has developed a particular interest in Rural property matters, Succession/Estate Planning and Estate Administration. Stacey’s goal is to make legal services more accessible to rural and remote families, and she takes pride in her ability to provide valuable assistance to clients in sometimes difficult situations.

Joshua was born and raised in Rockhampton where he also completed his Bachelor of Laws through Central Queensland University. After completing some studies in Italy in his final year he then completed his practical legal training through Queensland University of Technology.

Joshua was admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of Queensland on 25 September 2017 and was also added to the Register of Practitioners of the High Court of Australia. He has experience dealing with a broad range of legal matters and brings that experience to the table in achieving the best outcomes for our clients.

At Foxlaw, Joshua now focuses on advising clients in Property Law, Business Law, and Wills and Estates, along with some general law matters. He supervises the Conveyancing Team located in Rockhampton. Joshua places particular emphasis on cutting through all the legal jargon and ‘what if’s’ to provide practical advice relevant to each client’s individual circumstances. Joshua is based in our Rockhampton office.

Joshua is a volunteer solicitor at the CQ Community Legal Centre and volunteers as a member of the Finance, Policy, and Risk Subcommittee for a local school.

Outside of work Joshua loves to travel and adventure in the outdoors (having trekked to Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes), play football (soccer) and chess, and spend time with his family and friends.

Demi greets everyone warmly as they enter our Rockhampton office. Being our ‘director of first impressions’, she’s enthusiastic, friendly and great with people. She’s passionate about delivering the very best client experiences.

After living in Western Queensland for a short time, Demi moved to Yeppoon for most of her schooling (and a nice change of scenery). With her extensive background in the medical and health sectors, Demi has excellent customer service skills. Having had an interest in venturing into the legal world for some time, she’s keen to put those skills to good use for the benefit of our clients.
