Josh is a lawyer, problem solver, speaker, and the founder of Foxlaw. Along with a keen intellect, he brings passion, optimism and empathy to the practice of law. Josh earned degrees in both law and commerce at the University of Queensland. He has studied abroad on exchange both at the University of British Columbia (Canada) and the University of Nottingham (UK). He holds a Master of Laws degree.

Josh grew up in Rockhampton attending school at St. Anthony’s and Emmaus College. Josh loves travel and a good challenge (having ticked Everest Base Camp and the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro off his ‘100 Things’ List). Josh has a strong belief in the benefits of living and working in the regions and is an enthusiastic advocate for business development and professional networking.

We welcomed Courtney into the Foxlaw Team in September 2023.

Having worked in the Legal Industry since December 2016, Courtney commenced her career in Administration, progressing to the roles of Paralegal, Conveyancer, and now, Solicitor.

Courtney completed a Bachelor of Laws degree with the Central Queensland University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland as a Lawyer in July 2021.

Raised on a rural property between Yeppoon and Rockhampton, Courtney has lived in the Rockhampton area her entire life.

Courtney truly takes an interest in and understands our clients’ needs. She is committed to providing a streamlined service and strives to achieve clients’ desired outcomes.

In her spare time, Courtney also enjoys giving back to the community (by volunteering at the CQ Community Legal Centre), staying physically active, meeting up with friends and family, and spending quality time with her partner and two dogs.

Vicki has worked in the legal industry since 1999. While she has a broad range of experience, her passion for all things property has allowed her to find her calling: residential conveyancing.

2024 represents a new and exciting challenge for Vicki, having joined Foxlaw, a progressive firm specialising in residential, commercial and rural property transactions, with a strong commitment to outstanding service.

Vicki, as part of our Conveyancing Team, is pro-active and manages the conveyancing journey from start to finish. Vicki takes pride in working co-operatively with all parties to ensure that transactions run smoothly and on time.

Away from the office, Vicki makes various attempts to start her running career, enjoys Yoga/Pilates (there’s an App for that!) and dreams about being co-ordinated enough for stand-up paddleboarding.

We welcomed Jodie to the Foxlaw Team as our Administration Assistant & Finance Officer in July 2023. Jodie has worked within these roles in the areas of both Law and Accounting in Rockhampton for 30+ years. You may be lucky enough to speak with Jodie, from time to time, in her support role to our Receptionist.

Assisting her husband Jim, with the successful operation of their family business, took Jodie away from the spotlight for a few years which offered the freedom to also raise a small family, but now she is back in full swing, working behind the scenes assisting the Foxlaw Team to ensure the Foxlaw engine room cogs spin smoothly.

Jodie spends much of her time outside of work catching up with family and friends. She and Jim are also keen Aussie Classic Car enthusiasts, often working on ‘restoration projects’ together.

Jodie is always enthusiastic about assisting our valued clients and industry colleagues.

Claire joined the Foxlaw Team as our Receptionist in September 2023. She has worked in the legal industry since graduating from The Rockhampton Grammar School in 2021.

If you call or visit our office, Claire will usually be your friendly first point of contact. She’s always ready to assist our clients and ensure they are efficiently connected with our Conveyancer or one of our Solicitors.

Outside of work, Claire spends her time catching up with friends and family, along with taking care of her two Jack Russells, “Rocky” and “Arrow”.
